STOCKAGE DE L'EAUIndex. décimale : 300 Eau, assainissement et traitement des déchets Résumé : The LEAD International Session in Mexico, 24Octobre to 4 November 2002, is the graduation International session for the ninth Cohort of LEAD Association. It is a training exercise that provides the Associates with an international problem-solving and decision-making experience using a "real world" context as a case study. The session is the final segment of the training in which Cohort 9 LEAD Association have participated since their selection in 2000. Previous Cohort 9 Session include the international session in Pakistan, "sustainable Community Development: A chalenge for Gouvernance and ressource Management" ( 20 February to 3 March 2001) and training activities at the national and/ or regional level. The international session, hosted by LEAD Mexico and organised in cooperation with the LEAD international secretariat, represents the culmination of two years of new experiences and discoveries. Throughout their training, Associates have been introduced to new methods and tools of analysis, and have shared experiences with each other. They have met and worked alongside their conterparts from different countries, sectors and disciplines. They have traveled to other countries and, in some places, witnessed firshand the results of development policies at odds with environmentally sound behaviour. In other places, Associates welcomed attempts to steer the development path towards an increasing leve of sustainability. Many times, these two paths of development co-exist, increasing the complexity of making decisions for substantial change.
