It is a contribution to the orientation of development policies and strategies towards human settlements issues. HIC seeks to contribue insights into NGO and OCB efforts, bothe qualitative and quantitatif, towards combatting urba poverty and, based on the utcome, a effectively disseminate the results, focosing ont the consequences for the policies and programs of people organizations and to develop models for futhers productive governmental interaction.
